As you know Wordless Wednesday means letting the images speak for themselves. As is the norm with me, I always have “something” to say but I will keep it to the point
Remember on Valentine’s Day I told you about 20 things the twins love? Well one of them is helicopters. They go bananas for helicopters!
Yesterday I left the twins with a friend while I shopped and she absolutely made the twins’ dream come true: a ride in a helicopter! If you could only know how much this means to the boys – everyday when dad gets home they beg him to fly the helicopter. Well, this was their chance to fly one themselves!
It’s amazing how much happiness a mall can provide if you have a roll of quarters handy!
Thanks Chris for baby sitting the boys, providing the quarters AND taking the photos to prove it!

Enjoy this wonderful time in their lives! The magic of two, three and four — when the simplest acts make the biggest impression. Ahhhhh…. I miss it!
You are so right – it’s definitely a joy seeing things through their eyes!
That’s so wonderful. It brings tears to my eyes as I remember your last trip to Edinburgh. No helicopter but other rides that the boys loved!
That was a special day in Scotland!
They are getting so big! Looks like you had a fun day
The kids were just so excited when we were walking up, I couldn’t say no. They had so much fun! A large part of the excitement was getting ‘money, money’ and putting the coins in. I had to tell them that it was ok to get in the helicopter… They really were in disbelief! I’m glad they had so much fun.
Thanks again Chris!!!
They certainly DID have a fantastic time, I know, not because I was with the lovely Chris, but I remember, as Mummy said, how very excited they were about the rides in Scotland. So a “copter” WOW WOW WOW, I can only imagine how excited they would have been. I have seen how much joy a simple balloon brings them, so know that the experiance would of been magical, the photos don’t do it justice – Mason looks like he is dreaming perhaps of Cameron and himself on a “copter” mission, priceless!
Yes, Those rides in Scotland were priceless not because of the ride but because of all the adults (I think about 5) standing around watching them
Awww, how fun for them! I can remember being so excited as a kid to ride on the horses, planes, etc that they used to have outside of the supermarkets! Always made sure to keep an extra quarter in my pocket! =)
Oh what fun! Our kiddo loves the rides at the mall too. Great pictures!
Oh m’gosh! Twin fun! Double trouble in a good way. Your babies are adorable! I don’t know why I never thought to carry a cache of coinage with me instead of my ash tray. Great job mom!
wow. What fun. I wish that they had toys like this in my days.
They have come a long way – since you are SOOOOOO old
