Sweet Treat

We are in Maine for a little bit, and being on vacation means you get to indulge a little bit more than usual.

Today in Portland, we found a little sweet treat waiting for us as we rounded the corner…..

A gourmet chocolate shop!!!

Unfortunately I have passed on my LOVE of chocolate to my son Mason – you could almost call my relationship with chocolate an obsession :)

The varieties of chocolate were endless and exciting but we decided to get the chocolate covered strawberries. I gave them to the twins and Cameron started wolfing it down, and the strawberry juice gushed all over his chin.

“You have to get a photo of that!!” Another customer exclaimed. So here is Mason trying his treat and then Cameron with the berry juice flowing down his chin:

YUM!

And at the end of his sweet treat, Mason held up both hands in the air and said in a little sweet voice….

“I don’t have any more, Mommy”.

Yes, my little son, these sweet treats often leave us wanting more, don’t they?

Before I became diabetic I obsessed about chocolate also–as a matter of fact it got soooo bad at one point I went to a hypnotist to slow it down . Yes it worked on me–but not totally -but at least I stopped eating chocolate as all my meals!!!!!
