Pulled Cuban Pork Sandwiches Your Kids will Love!

Share

I have been blessed with amazing eaters. The twins will eat (almost) anything I put in front of them!

This pork recipe is a favorite with adults and kids. I discovered it when I had some pork, and I wanted to make something yummy for dinner, but I didn’t have many other ingredients in my fridge. These ingredients I almost always have in my fridge.

Pulled Cuban Pork Sandwiches

2 lbs pork loin roast (or boneless ribs, or chops)

1/2 Cup Orange Juice

2 Tablespoons lime juice

1 tablespoon minced garlic

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

1/2 teaspoon Red pepper flakes

Directions:

Place pork in slow cooker.

Mix all ingredients together and pour over pork.

Allow to cook in slow cooker for 6 -8 hours on low heat.

Shred once ready to serve.

Can be eaten on salad or as a sandwich. Use nice fresh crusty bread or rolls. Add cheese, yellow mustard and pickles if you like. This crowd-pleaser is also great eaten cold!

Do you make any alterations ingredient-wise when using chicken instead of pork?
    Looking forward to trying this!
