Isn’t this enough to make your heart melt?
This morning after walking the dog, we were walking back up the porch steps…
Mason says: “Mommy, you put flower in my head?”
I turn around and his arm is out stretched toward me and in his hand is a flower – a flower on it’s last legs, but still a flower.
He must have gotten the idea from the Luau we went to over the weekend.
So I take it from his hand and put it behind his ear, and he gives me the biggest smile.
Cameron, his twin, then says he wants a flower too.
Mason runs down the steps to pick one of the last remaining blooms.
And first thing this morning before our walk, both boys (who are potty training) went successfully on the toilet.
So I say, “My turn!”
And I sit down on the loo, and Mason grabs my hand and holds it (which I sometimes do to him), and then he starts stroking my hair.
I savored that moment, as he stroked my hair, just thinking how truly blessed I am.
I love my sweet, sensitive boys!
