Week 5 of my weight loss challenge was rough! As you know I’m trying to shift this baby (now toddler) weight before my birthday later this month!
Well this weeks weigh in showed I gained 1.5 lbs! That is the amount of weight I lost in one week
That means I have only lost 7 lbs total since the challenge began.
I’m not surprised, because I didn’t make good decisions last week.
I guess eating at a buffet was not the best thing I could have done! Add to that those sneaky chocolates… I obviously wasn’t sneaky enough because my body caught on! And previously I had been eating more fruit and veggies – this week was a lot of meat.
My goals for this week:
1. Eat more fruit and veggies
2. Hide and ignore the call of the chocolates!
3. Make another yummy vegetable soup.
Wish me luck – I think this week I will need extra! Are you taking any steps to be a healthier, happier you?

I hate how easy it is to gain weight but so hard to lose it
eating more fruits and veggies —cutting back on soda =0 its been a rough week!!!
You can do it Pamela!
More water, less coffee and getting at least 7 hours sleep.
OH MY WORD! I would love 5 hours of sleep never mind 7!
Hang in there… Weight loss is a marathon event, not a sprint. It took eight months and two boys to help you gain that weight, right? Well, they aren’t helping you lose it! So… what three made, one must lose.
My advice: when the evening nibbles hit (for anything!) eat at most a SMALL bowl of cereal with skim milk and then go to bed. When we’re tired, our bodies ask for fuel even if we have plenty packed on. So, go to bed and lose some weight!
Good for you for taking on this challenge. I am trying to incorporate more fruits & veggies into my diet as well! I’ll be cheering for you.
Man, I hate gaining weight back that I lost…even if it’s just a little amount! Don’t worry too much though…you will lose it again and then some! You’ve got this!
Good luck with those last few pounds! I think hiding the chocolate is a great idea. I need to try to same tactic
DelSheree – found the chocolate again last night! Not looking forward to the weigh in
Sigh, it’s so hard isn’t it? I had been doing so good and then came home after a long day of work last night and housed more pieces of pizza than I care to admit
All you can do is love yourself no matter what, and keep trying! You’re doing great!
And today is a new day! I agree, love ourselves no matter what
Atta girl…don’t give up! It’s hard work, dedication and totally worth it!
