I’m doing it. Taking a step in to the unknown.
This blog is my way of communicating with those near and far. And believe me, I mean far. My journey started in South Africa, then I “jumped the pond” to Scotland and then made a touchdown in the US, Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to be exact, home of the Steelers.
I’m a 33-year-old mother of twin fraternal boys. They are 13-months-old, and born 9 minutes apart. Today is January 9th, and 9 just happens to be my lucky number, so perhaps this will all work out just fine.
My intention is to share the joy of having twins with you. Having twins (and I’m sure singletons) is an adventure, a whirl wind and according to other twin moms the first few years can be a total blur. So hopefully this will help me remember a few things when my kids are finally able to talk and ask me for themselves (and no, I’m not rushing them at all).
Hopefully this will be a place where I can share some info that I have found to be helpful or interesting or just plain fun. I also hope that you will share your pearls of wisdom with me. I’m a bargain hunter, even before the boys arrived, and I love finding those hidden treasures and antiques out there. So you may hear about that a little bit. I have my Masters in Counseling Psychology and School Counseling, so you may hear a little bit about that, although maybe not. Mostly I love to make people happy, so hopefully this blog will make you smile, laugh or ponder a happy thought once in a while.
